Waves of mercy..dadadada!

We all woke up really early today and went straight to the foundation. We only had two hours with the kids today but it was really awesome. A few of us got to go into Segundo's parents house to see how he makes ponchos. He wakes up at 3 in the morning for 15 days to make one poncho and makes 25 dollars every month.

As we were leaving some team members started crying and none of the kids wanted to let us leave...really cute.

We went back to the hostal for lunch, thanked Matilda and the staff, and then left for the Equator museum. All the experiments we cool, some of us got Egg Master certificates for balancing an egg on the head of a nail. And the guinea pigs there informed us as to whether or not we had bad energy.

After that we went to the Feijoos house for dinner and some games. They have a really nice house in Quito.

Tonight we are staying at the Alliance Guest house again.

Thanks for all of your support and we really enjoy reading the comments you leave...especially you Mommy O'D..woo!

katherine speaking for the team..again.

Yo Yo Yo My Little Kung Fu Panda's!!!

My heart is popping with happines for all of you! I am thrilled that this experience is everything and more for all of you!!!

My three sons,
A little Mount Prospect update...

Tuesday, I went to pick up Anissa and Brookie from camp. I was told that Anissa couldn't move and that I had to go upstairs and get her. I found her on the floor unable to move. Apparently she was shaking her God given gift a little too hard and had a LIMBO accident. She feel on her behind and couldn't get up. Before I made it upstairs she had already made the staff call 911 and an ambulance was on the way for her. Can you believe this Ryan? 911!!!! She was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they iced her behind for 4 hours and we left w/ her skipping to the car. Can you believe this?

Wednesday...

The swim meet was cancelled due to horiible weather. Guess when it is rescheduled?

Saturday....at 730am. Will you three be ready?

Thursday...

Daddy planned this special bar-b-que at Grandpa's for the family before fireworks. He bought everything you could possibly imagine to eat and had the backyard looking festive. He took about an hour arranging the meat on the grill....you know how perfect dad has to be...when he was done and performed his first flip, the propane tank read empty!!! Can you believe he didn't check the propane tank before he started? We felt so bad for him! So much for eating!! The fireworks were great! We met Aunt Sue, Uncle Mark, Aunt Pola, Uncle Paul, Aunt Sara and Uncle Jim and so on and so on....and then went over to Aunt Pola's after. Very late evening!!!

Friday....

We went to uncle Roland's for the parade and stayed for the rest of the evening until fireworks. He and Aunt Chris send all teir love and good thoughts.

Saturday.....

We spent the whole day working on the summer homework project that they gave Brooke to complete for fifth grade at the library.

You guys sound like you are having the time of a lifetime!!!!

Remember, don't be cheap!!!! Buy things to remind you of this experience and don't forget to journal.

I wish I was home when you called!!! I miss you guys with all my heart, but I am so thankful that you are doing what you were called to do. You guys are the most blessed group of children!!!!

I love you all so much!!!

Oops, I forgot....

Remember, it's not what's wriiten on the scroll....It's what's written in the heart and soul. That's where the strength of the Kung Fu Panda comes from.

Heart and Soul!!

Love you all,
Mommy O'D

Ryan, You're probably the only one in that whole group who has seen KUNG FU PANDA. Will you fill them in?

I love you!!!

All I can say is WOW. I want to BE with you all! Having been in Columbia just days before you headed down there brings me closer in concept...but we are with you in spirit completely.

Keep up the good work....hearing that there were tears about leaving means a lot. Thanks for the report.

Dear Teddy and all others:

Sounds like you are doing great things for the children and people of Ecuador! It also sounds like you are learning things that you otherwise wouldn't have access to here in the States.

Know that you're all missed very much and we can't wait for your return.

Teddy - Strider misses you too!
